Healing Hypothyroidism - Week 2 Day 2
Felt super tired again this morning but in hopes of getting more energy, I attempted to do a 30 min HIIT workout. I managed to finish but it was definitely rough going. Where did my energy and stamina go?!
I had a phone appointment with the doctor around noon to go over my bloodwork. High cholesterol and Hypothyroidism was the conclusion, no news there.
He wanted me to take meds but as usual, I declined and said I was using food to heal myself and that we could run another test in 3 months to see where things are at.
Todays daily log:
- Water: 3 litres of water
- Breakfast/Lunch: 2 litres green smoothie w/almond milk (home-made), 75% greens (6 cups), 25% fruit & fats (1/4 cup flax seeds)
- Dinner: salad with 6 cups lettuce, olives, red onion, baby tomatoes, avocado, dressing (1 tbsp olive oil, 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar)
- Activity: 30 minute HIIT workout (morning), 1 hour walk (afternoon)
- Infra Red Sauna Blanket: 60 mins (Level 8)
- Symptoms: I still had the same stiffness in my foot after being at rest, but it would ease up after walking around for a few minutes. This happened first thing in the morning, during the day, and in the eve during sleep. The rest is still pretty much the same as yesterday.
