Healing Hypothyroidism - Week 2 Day 5
Woke up tired again, no change there but there was a shift in the pain in my right foot! It felt a bit stiff early in the morning as I got out of bed, but not nearly the pain I have normally had.
Didn't have the energy to work out again, so I showered and got ready for my day of listening & reading health related inspirational material.
I was also doing some research and am thinking that I seem to have quite a few symptoms that lean towards sjogren's syndrome. I'm not going to self diagnose but trying to get complete & accurate answers to what I have based on my slew of symptoms will take longer than my healing. Since Hypothyroidism has been the diagnosis for the past 8+ years, I'm just going to roll with that!
I was hoping that I would be used to drinking all this liquid (water & smoothie), but I'm still forcing myself. It really just comes down to mindset, I know this is healing me and I'm not going to quit. I've done that too many times. I'm seeing some great improvements already and excited to see myself at weeks 3, 4, 5 and beyond!
I am committing to 3 full months, and then will see if I need to make any other adjustments to my protocol.
Todays daily log:
- Water: 3 litres of water
- Breakfast/Lunch: 2 litres green smoothie w/water, 75% greens (6 cups), 25% fruit & fats (1/4 cup flax seeds)
- Dinner: 1/4 cup home-made vegan green split pea soup & 1.5 litres of green smoothie w/water, 75% greens (4 cups), 25% fruit & fats (1/4 cup flax seeds)
- Activity: none
- Symptoms: As I wrote at the top of this post, the stiffness in my foot felt much better when I woke up this morning. It didn't have the pain that I normally have, just a bit of stiffness that was gone within 20 seconds of walking. Still no real energy to speak of first thing in the morn, and my cough is also still the same. I do believe that my psoriasis and eczema look a bit better today, but maybe it's wishful thinking.
